"Grown up" life began for me when I began to teach Science for Sacramento Science Center and Junior Museum! I loved doing "Traveling One Person Shows," taking the critters out to the schools to see the kids or giving tours at the museum. My love for science education led me to become a teacher at Sacramento Country Day School. I had the "dream job" where I taught sixth grade math, science, and social studies and had a partner that did the language arts. It was a blast! When it was time to have my own kids, being home was the plan. I knew I would homeschool from the time my first was 6 weeks old!

Since my kids were born, I have been at home with them, but have also done some freelancing writing and graphic design work. Never a dull moment! :-D
